We Shall Walk Through the Valley
I Believe
The 23rd Psalm
Wanting Memories
Sisi Kushangilia
Baraka Na We We
We Shall Walk Through the Valley
Through the dark, I sense a holy passion,
Music that beats with the pulses of God.
God is in me.
The light in my darkness,
the voice in my silence.
I feel the flame of eternity in my soul.
I possess the light,
which shall give me vision a thousand-fold
when death sets me free.
I Believe
Faith is the bird that feels the light, and sings when the dawn is still dark.
The 23rd Psalm
Hallelujah for the day!
And blessing for the night.
Hallelujah for the day!
And blessing for the night.
The nets are filled, we have drawn them in,
We have sung Your praise.
What a blessing is the sea with fish in plenty.
Lord, that is the story of Your grace.
The nets tear, we cannot hold them all.
O Lord, we sing Your praise.
Hallelujah for the day!
And blessing for the night.
Lord, with Your praise, we drop off to sleep.
Carry us through the night.
Make us fresh for the morning, O Lord, our God.
Hallelujah for the day!
Wanting Memories
Over hill, over dale,
Through bush, through briar,
Over park, over pale,
Through blood, through fire,
I do wander everywhere,
Swifter than the moone’s sphere;
And I serve the fairy queen,
To dew her orbs upon the green.
The cowslips tall her pensioners be;
In their gold coats spots you see:
Those be rubies, fairy favours;
In those freckles live their savors.
I must go seek some dewdrops here,
And hang a pearl in every cowslip’s ear.
Farewell thou lob of spirits; I’ll be gone.
Our Queen and all her elves come here anon.
Over hill, over dale,
Through bush, through briar,
Over park, over pale,
Through blood, through fire,
I do wander everywhere,
Swifter than the moone’s sphere;
And I serve the fairy queen,
To dew her orbs upon the green.
Sisi Kushangilia
'Twas in the moon of wintertime
When all the birds had fled
That mighty Gitchi Manitou
Sent angel choirs instead
Before their light the stars grew dim
And wandering hunters heard the hymn
Jesus your King is born, Jesus is born
In excelsis gloria
Within a lodge of broken bark
The tender Babe was found
A ragged robe of rabbit skin
Enwrapp'd His beauty round
And as the hunter braves drew nigh
The angel song rang loud and high
Jesus your King is born, Jesus is born
In excelsis gloria
The earliest moon of wintertime
Is not so round and fair
As was the ring of glory
On the helpless infant there
The chiefs from far before him knelt
With gifts of fur and beaver pelt
Jesus your King is born, Jesus is born
In excelsis gloria
O children of the forest free
O sons of Manitou
The Holy Child of earth and heaven
Is born today for you
Come kneel before the radiant Boy
Who brings you beauty, peace and joy
Jesus your King is born, Jesus is born
In excelsis gloria
Baraka Na We We
Like the snowflakes we are made,
No two of us the same.
We are valued, and called by name,
You have made us all.
All a part of one family,
Brothers, Sisters in all,
Let us love, because we’re loved,
For you care,
Yes You care for us all.
All together, work or play,
Nobody shunned or shamed,
In our difference, we live and breathe,
You have made us all.
All a part of one family,
Brothers, Sisters in all,
Let us love, because we’re loved,
For you care,
Yes You care for us all.
Like the snowflakes, You have made,
No two of us the same.
We are valued, and called by name,
You have made us all.
Each one a name,
No two the same,
You have made us all.
