HIGH SCHOOL CHORAL WORKSHOP, SEPTEMBER 28th
Choral singers from across Ventura County participated in a festival choir led by Dr. KuanFen Liu, music professor and director of the CSUCI University Chorus. Sessions focussed on the individual singer’s role in the success of the ensemble. Sponsored by CICA in partnership with the CSU Channel Islands Performing Arts Department.
AUDITIONS FOR THE CSUCI UNIVERSITY CHORUS — EXTENDED THROUGH August 26, 2024
Community singers are invited to join the CSU Channel Islands University Chorus. Rehearsals are Monday nights on the CSUCI campus from 6:30-9:15 p.m. The first rehearsal is August 26th. CHORAL SPECTACULAR, MAY 4 & 5, 2024
The CSU Channel Islands University Chorus will sing in collaboration with Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra, Santa Paula High School Cardinal Concert Choir, Rancho Campana High School Concert Choir, Ventura High School Chorale and the Pleasant Valley School District Chorus. Louise Lofquist, Mezzo-Soprano, performed Edward Elgar’s Sea Pictures with the orchestra.
