Welcome to the Channel Islands Choral Association Virtual Choir Room (VCR). The VCR has been developed to provide student and community members of the CSU Channel Islands University Chorus and the Pleasant Valley School District Chorus with the following during the COVID-19 pandemic:

  1. Social-Emotional connection in a safe, virtual environment that supports the wellness of our community

  2. A continued forum to explore issues of diversity and inclusion for all in the choral arts

  3. An outlet to build member musicianship and artistic expression with ultimate goals of providing excellent, joy-filled virtual performances for the University and our community

  4. An ability to sustain the work of the Channel Islands Choral Association and ensure its continued ability to devote itself to its mission in the years ahead

To that end, we are excited to make available this innovative and artistic space to our members in the months ahead until such a time that live, in-person rehearsals and concert performances return to our community.
